As the Manager - Formation & Engagement: Education, you will lead the design and delivery of Religious Education and formation initiatives that strengthen Catholic identity across schools.

About the opportunity
In this position you will:
Lead the development and delivery of Religious Education programs, formation opportunities and contemporary resources
Drive implementation of the Catholic Identity Framework, including formation experiences such as retreats and service learning
Provide strategic leadership and advice to strengthen Religious Education and student formation across schools
Design and oversee professional learning for leaders and teachers to support effective Religious Education pedagogy
Oversee development and continuous improvement of Religious Education curriculum, guidelines and associated resources
Partner with school leaders and stakeholders to embed Catholic identity and drive improved outcomes through data-informed practice
Foster strong networks and lead a high-performing team, building capability and a cooperative culture
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
Deep knowledge of Catholic theology, Religious Education and formation practices
Experience leading strategic initiatives, programs or professional learning in an education context
Strong ability to design, implement and evaluate programs, policies and resources
Proven capability to influence, collaborate and build partnerships across diverse stakeholders
Experience supporting teachers and leaders to improve pedagogy and student outcomes
A data-informed approach to decision-making and continuous improvement
Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or working towards) in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field
For this position you are required to be Catholic
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Full registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT)
