A key focus will be migrating workloads from VMware and legacy on-premises platforms to Azure and hybrid-cloud environments.The successful candidate will have strong hands‐on experience with Hyper-V, VMware, Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, and enterprise infrastructure migrations.ResponsibilitiesAssess existing infrastructure, applications, dependencies, and technology landscapesParticipate in technical discovery, solution validation, implementation planning, and future-state designImplement and support virtualised infrastructure across Hyper-V, VMware, and Microsoft Azure environmentsPlan and execute the migration of virtual machines and workloads from VMware and other legacy platforms to AzureConfigure and support Azure virtual machines, storage, networking, and associated cloud servicesDeliver solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environmentsAssist with the implementation and integration of Microsoft technologies, enterprise applications, and line-of-business systemsSupport identity and access services, including Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and single sign-onImplement infrastructure security controls and ensure solutions meet cybersecurity and compliance requirementsAssist with Azure Front Door, Web Application Firewall, SQL, monitoring, and security integration where requiredSupport the integration of infrastructure services with NOC, SIEM, monitoring, and alerting platformsDevelop implementation plans, migration runbooks, testing procedures, cutover plans,



and rollback strategiesConduct testing and post-implementation validation to confirm solution performance, stability, and securityTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues arising during migrations and implementationsWork with internal teams and external vendors to manage technical dependencies and delivery timelinesMaintain accurate technical documentation, configuration records, and operational support proceduresProvide knowledge transfer and handover to service desk and operational support teamsContribute to business continuity, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resilience initiativesIdentify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement across implementation and operational processesRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong hands‐on experience delivering infrastructure implementations and cloud migrations in enterprise environmentsMicrosoft Azure: Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, Storage Accounts, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Front Door, Web Application Firewall, and Azure SQLVirtualisation: VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter, Microsoft Hyper‐V, virtual machine provisioning, configuration, migration, and performance troubleshootingDemonstrated experience migrating VMware or Hyper‐V workloads to Azure using Azure Migrate or equivalent migration toolsMicrosoft infrastructure: Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Entra ID, and single sign‐onServer and storage: Physical and virtual servers, SAN/NAS storage, capacity planning, backup, recovery, and high‐availability configurationsNetworking: TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VPNs,
