An initial 3-month opportunity with likelihood of extension.Working in a standalone capacity, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while providing expert payroll support in accordance with relevant awards, legislation,



and organisational policies.DUTIES.Support end-to-end payroll dutiesManual adjustmentsLeave and entitlement managementPayroll reportingAttend to payroll enquires as they ariseSKILLS & EXPERIENCE.Previous payroll experience, ideally within Local GovernmentExperience using CIVICA (Authority) or a comparable advanced payroll systemAbility to confidently manage payroll independentlyStrong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, and best practiceHigh level of attention to detail & problem solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCULTURE.Join a professional and collaborative Council that values accuracy, accountability, and teamwork.
