He advises major banks and financial institutions on complex regulatory issues, market infrastructure and evolving regimes, including digital finance and energy transition.
This role will suit a Solicitor/Senior Associate who wants to focus on high-end regulatory advisory work while maintaining exposure to market-facing transactions.What you'll doAdvise clients on financial services regulation, including AFSL licensing, exemptions and compliance frameworksWork on AML/CTF obligations, financial crime risk and regulatory change projectsProvide strategic advice on regulatory structuring across financing, derivatives and market productsSupport clients navigating emerging regimes, including digital assets, payments and carbon marketsEngage directly with clients on business-critical regulatory issues and risk managementWhat we're looking forExperience in financial regulation from a top-tier or international firmStrong understanding of AFSL, AML/CTF and financial services complianceExperience advising banks, financial institutions or corporates on regulatory frameworksClear, commercial approach to complex legal and regulatory issuesAbility to lead matters and build trusted client relationshipsAbility to mentor more junior members of the teamWhy join our teamYou will work in a market-leading financial regulation practice alongside a recognised expert.
