Our client is looking for an experienced Counsellor or Psychologist (including Social Workers with previous counselling experience) to join their team for a long-term temporary assignment for 2 years.About the roleHigh-quality clinical services including risk assessment and interventionIndividual, couple and family counsellingCase management and client reviewUpdating client records using the CRMLiaise with families and coordinate with relevant treatment providersParticipate in community development and projects as requiredRegional intake assessmentsAbout youYou will have previous experience working in a counselling setting, providing trauma informed, holistic, and client centred careYou will have previous experience completing intake and risk assessmentsYou will have strong written and verbal communicate skillsYou will have the ability to respond to critical incidents in a calm and timely mannerYou will have intermediate to advanced IT skills,



and previously used databases and relevant MS packages.Mandatory Requirements for the roleYou must currently hold, or be willing to obtain, either Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration, or Working with Children Check (WWCC)You must hold APHRA Registration as a Psychologist, Occupational TherapistOr you will be a Social Worker with membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) upon commencementOr you will be a Counsellor with Master's-level counselling qualification with Registered Clinical Counsellor with PACFA, or ACA Level 3 or Level 4BenefitsASAP start2 years casual temporary assignmentFull-time hours Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours per day, generally between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm.Hervey Bay$***** - $***** per hour + super*** Please note the successful candidate for the role must hold Australian Citizenship.
