Reporting to the Group Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial insight, credible management reporting, and robust forecasting across the group.This position will suit a technically sound finance skilled who thrives in a hands on role and enjoys driving process improvement.The ChallengeThe FP&A; Manager will take ownership of groupwide financial planning and reporting, with responsibilities including:Leading the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes, developing templates, assumptions, and analysisPreparing group-level presentations for ELT and Board considerationDelivering credible financial reporting and insights across the P&L;, Balance Sheet,



and Cash FlowLiaising with Commercial Finance to understand risks and opportunities and contribute to recommendationsBuilding and maintaining key financial models and scenario analysesSupporting the implementation of strategic initiatives through bespoke reporting solutions in NetSuiteDriving continuous improvement across reporting and planning processesManaging master data and reporting attributes within financial systemsThe ExpertisePlease consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:10+ years' professional experience, including 5+ in a similar FP&A; Manager roleExperience in large, complex organisations, ideally retail, FMCG or consumer-facing but not essentialStrong systems experience (NetSuite, Power BI highly regarded)Advanced Excel and financial modelling capabilityStrong commercial acumen and the ability to translate numbers into insightProven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and influence decisionsA hands-on, proactive approach with an eye for process improvement and detailAbout ThompsonCookAt ThompsonCook we develop strong relationships with top accounting and finance professionals across Australia.
