The University Clinic (Outpatients) is a fast-paced service that supports a diverse patient population and values teamwork, professionalism and exceptional patient experiences.As part of Western Sydney Local Health District, you'll join a collaborative administration team dedicated to delivering productive, high-quality outpatient services.Work within a large and respected tertiary hospital.Join a friendly and supportive clerical team.Be part of a service focused on patient‐centred care.Access learning and development opportunities across NSW Health.Contribute to continuous improvement and service excellence.Wellbeing Initiatives including an On‐site gym, cafes, and green spaces.What you'll be doingAs the Administration Officer in this dynamic role, you will provide high-level clerical, reception and customer service support to ensure the smooth day‐to‐day operation of outpatient clinics.In this role you will be required to:Manage patient appointments, registrations, waitlists and clinic bookings.Provide professional reception services and respond to patient and stakeholder enquiries.Support Medicare bulk billing and revenue‐related administrative processes.Coordinate administrative systems,



records and office communications in line with LHD policies.Contribute to service improvement, accreditation activities and training of administration staff as required.Selection Criteria:Proven extensive clerical experience in a busy reception/customer service position.Evidence of high level verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and also as part of a multidisciplinary teamExpertise in computer skills, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Client/Patient Management SystemsProven high level organisational skills including the ability to problem solve, prioritise workload, multi‐task and meet deadlinesDemonstrated ability to identify issues of relevance, sensitivity and confidentiality and knowing when to elevate matters of importance and/or urgency.Requisition ID:REQ******Applications Close: 2 September ****Need more information?
