About the role

As we continue to expand our AI capability across the firm, we're seeking an AI Operations Analyst to join us in a newly established position within the Innovation Group. Working at the forefront of the firm's AI strategy, you'll help develop, support, optimise and scale data solutions across Harvey, Microsoft Copilot, Mallesons Chat and our agentic AI technologies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data and analytics professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with problem solving, operational improvement and emerging technology.

The role spans both development and analysis - you'll be responsible for building and maintaining reporting solutions, analytics dashboards and automated data pipelines that provide insights into AI usage, adoption, performance and business outcomes across the firm.

You'll work closely with Innovation, Technology and business stakeholders to help drive data-informed decision making,



support governance requirements and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our AI operations capability.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to AI observability, monitoring frameworks, data stewardship and operational processes that improve the effectiveness, governance and scalability of AI-enabled solutions.

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers hybrid working and has the flexibility to be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and analytics solutions
- Build automated data pipelines and reporting processes
- Analyse AI usage, adoption and performance data to identify trends and insights
- Monitor AI products and agents, including alerts, incidents and operational performance
- Support AI governance, compliance and executive reporting requirements
- Partner with Innovation, Technology and external vendors to improve reporting capabilities
- Maintain data quality, documentation and reporting governance standards
- Help shape the future of AI operations and observability across the firm

About You

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and excited by the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, technology and AI.

You'll bring

- A degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline
- 3 years plus experience in data analytics, business intelligence or reporting roles
- Strong SQL Server and SQL querying skills
- Advanced Power BI dashboard development and data visualisation experience
- Experience building data integrations, ETL processes or automated reporting solutions
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills




- Strong understanding of AI and data governance
