About the Role

Our client is in the property development sector and is looking for a mid-senior lawyer to join their friendly team for a short term contract role, with potential for extension.

Reporting to the Director of Legal, the lawyer will be a trusted legal advisor and provide high quality legal advice. You will need to be proactive, bring a can-do attitude and demonstrate a keen interest in providing practical solutions.

Requirements

- Minimum 6-8 years' post admission experience gained in-house, private practice, government, or a combination.
- General commercial/corporate experience
- Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
- Procurement and supplier arrangements
- Corporate governance
- Policy/procedure drafting, reviews and development
- Privacy, data governance and other regulatory compliance
- Experience in property law desirable, but not essential




- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Robust stakeholder engagement and communications skills.
