n Based out of our Robina (Gold Coast) office, this new and exciting role will help shape the future of our homes. As a key technical leader, your expertise in residential construction, building methods, and product innovation will help drive best practice, buildability, quality, and cost-effective outcomes across the business. Working closely with Construction, Design & Operations teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring our homes remain practical to build, aligned to industry standards and continuously improved to meet evolving market needs.

n Reporting to the National Product Commercialisation Manager, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Lead the review and implementation of changes to the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and other industry requirements that impact residential building practices
n
- Provide technical expertise on construction methods, detailing, and product design to ensure practical and effective site delivery
n
- Support the development and release of new construction details, systems, and product initiatives in line with business timelines
n
- Review and enhance construction methodologies to ensure they remain current, efficient, and aligned with evolving industry practices
n
- Partner with Construction and Operational teams to identify opportunities to improve buildability, quality, efficiency, and construction outcomes
n
- Conduct site visits and engage with construction teams to validate build methods, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure documentation reflects real-world construction practices
n
- Research and evaluate new building products, materials, and construction innovations that support improved quality, customer outcomes, and operational efficiency
n
- Review and assess proposed product improvements, construction details, and site instructions prior to implementation
n
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations regarding future industry, product, and construction changes
n
- Support the successful implementation of technical and construction-related business initiatives across the organisation
n
- Collaborate with stakeholders nationally to ensure construction, design, and operational impacts are understood and effectively managed
n
- Assist with technical training and communication to support the rollout of new construction methods, product changes, and industry requirements
n
- Monitor emerging building trends, innovations, and industry developments to help maintain market-leading construction practices
n
- Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve quality, reduce construction costs, simplify building processes, and enhance customer outcomes; and
n
- Participate in stakeholder and project meetings to provide technical leadership and ensure alignment between design intent and construction delivery.

The successful candidate will have:
n
n
- Exceptional understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards for Residential Building elements, and other building code reference documents
n
- High level of Construction method knowledge, both practical and technical
n
- Leadership / Confident / Enthusiastic
n
- Attention to detail

- Innovative mindset
n
- Time management – planning & organising
n
- Ability to easily build rapport
n
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, questioning and probing); and

- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
