Skytrans Australia is an Australian airline providing regional Regular Public Transport (RPT), ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance), and Charter services, connecting communities across the country. The airline operates a fleet of 11 aircraft, including Dash 8 turboprops and Airbus A319 jets. Skytrans Australia is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider, operating 136 aircraft across 6 continents and delivering a wide range of aviation services, supported by over 11,000 professionals across more than 250 subsidiaries worldwide.

About the role

As part of our Flight Crew team, you will join a motivated and safety-focused group of professionals committed to maintaining high operational standards. We are looking for individuals who thrive in a disciplined and fast-paced flight environment, bringing a proactive and industrious attitude to our RPT service.

This Direct Entry Captain role offers the opportunity to be based in Cairns, connecting regional communities across Queensland and beyond while flying in one of Australia’s most scenic and operationally rewarding regions.

Requirements

- Australian ATPL (A)
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 750 hours as pilot in command of multi-engine aircraft
- Type Rating DHC8 desirable
- CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate




- English Language Proficiency Level 6
- Australian Multi-Engine Instrument Rating with IAP2D and IAP3D
- The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
