About You You are an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' experience, bringing a strong track record from private practice or in-house roles within large organisations. Your Experience & Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience providing legal support across a broad range of commercial, corporate and contractual matters within an in-house or private practice environment
- Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, including procurement, supply, services, technology, operations and project-related contracts
- Proven ability to provide practical and commercially focused legal advice to business stakeholders on day-to-day operational and strategic matters
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, compliance and regulatory obligations applicable to large organisations
- Experience identifying and mitigating legal, commercial and operational risks while enabling business objectives and project outcomes
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience partnering closely with executives, project teams and operational stakeholders
- Experience preparing clear and concise legal advice, reports, contract documentation and decision-making materials
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance legal risk against business and operational considerations
- Experience within the energy, infrastructure, utilities or resources sectors would be advantageous but not essential
