About the role

Working across two key venues; The Union Hotel and Pennys Hotel, you'll be responsible for helping bring each venue's personality, offering and events to life. This is a varied, hands on role that sits across social media, content creation, venue marketing and events. You'll work closely with the marketing and venue teams to create engaging content, build our presence within local communities and help coordinate hired events.

Key responsibilities

- Create engaging, high-quality photo, video and reel content for Instagram, Facebook and other relevant social media platforms, staying across current social media trends, hospitality marketing and content opportunities

- Work with venue teams and the Marketing Manager to capture authentic, on-trend content

- Assist with event planning and conduct client site tours across both venues, helping clients bring their vision to life and create memorable events

- Act as the key point of communication between clients and venue teams, ensuring clear communication and seamless, reliable event execution

- Support the wider marketing and events team with projects and campaigns as required

- Report directly to the Marketing Manager

- Work a flexible schedule split across both venues,



with hours staggered around key venue activations and events to capture content and engagement in real time

About you

- Previous experience in social media, marketing, events, hospitality or a similar role (1-2 years)

- Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and short-form video content
- A valuable eye for photography, styling and visual content

- Excellent written communication and an ability to write in different brand voices

- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple venues, deadlines and projects at once
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved and make things happen

- Confidence communicating with venue teams, suppliers, partners and the public

- Strong attention to detail
- An understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable
