Senior Project Officer Grade NSW Building Commission - Building Compliance Grade: Clerk Grade 09/10 Employment: Temporary Opportunity until 31 March 2027 (with potential to be considered for ongoing roles in the future) Location: McKell or Parramatta (3 days in office) We are seeking a Senior Project Officer to join the Project Intervene team to support the delivery of undertakings to fix serious defects in occupied residential buildings. This is an opportunity to see how the regulator is using a different approach to get a positive outcome for owners of residential apartment buildings. https://www.nsw.gov.au/departments-and-agencies/building-commission/project-intervene You will be capable, dedicated professional, looking to join a fast-paced and results-driven environment. You will have the ability to manage competing priorities, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes for owners within tight timeframes. We are looking for an individual who possesses: Exceptional project management capability and experience, including experience delivering complex projects in structured governance setting, establishing project reporting and monitoring Proven ability to balance competing priorities and maintain focus on quality, budget and schedule Experience in leading, developing and managing people in the context of project and/or program delivery, influencing without direct authority and aligning work to common outcomes.
Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to liaise and negotiate with a range of stakeholders, including developers, owners corporations and undertaking managers and manage sensitive issues within agreed timeframes. Sound analytical and problem-solving skills. What we need from you
