Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to join our team in Warrimoo, New South Wales. The successful candidate will require knowledge of the LGBTQIA+ community with a solid commitment to providing inclusive support.

- Location: Warrimoo
- Day Required: Tuesdays
- Hours: 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
- Primary Focus: Transport and community access
- Potential for Additional Hours: Yes, subject to rapport and suitability
- Consistency and punctuality are essential

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide safe, respectful, and inclusive support in alignment with the participant’s gender identity
- Use correct pronouns (they/them) at all times
- Transport the participant to a scheduled weekly activity and remain onsite (waiting in the car) for the duration
- Liaise with the parent/guardian regarding scheduling, transport arrangements, and relevant updates




- Encourage independence, confidence, and self‑expression
- Provide light domestic assistance and meal preparation as required

Requirements:

- Current Australian driver’s licence and access to comprehensive-inured car
- NDISWC
- WWCC for paid employment
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Australian working rights

- Demonstrated reliability, honesty, and professionalism
- Experience supporting neurodivergent young people
- Commitment to gender‑affirming and inclusive practice
- Ability to maintain consistent weekly attendance and build positive rapport
