Disability and Aged Care Support Worker
NHR Staffing Group is a healthcare recruitment agency committed to delivering highly skilled and compassionate professionals to aged care facilities, disability support services, and community care settings across Australia.
We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated Aged Care and Disability Support Workers to join our team across Perth and regional Western Australia.
At NHR Staffing Group, we prioritise quality care, compliance, reliability, and person-centred support. We are looking for support workers who are compassionate, professional, and committed to delivering safe and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver high-quality personal care and support in accordance with individual care plans
- Assist with personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and manual handling procedures
- Provide mealtime assistance, including dysphagia support where required
- Assist with daily living activities and promote independence
- Support clients with medication assistance and delegated care tasks where authorised
- Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in client condition
- Promote client dignity, privacy, safety, independence, and wellbeing at all times
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, nurses, coordinators, and care teams

Essential Requirements:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
- Previous experience in aged care and/or disability support
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Manual Handling certificate




- Medication competency is desirable
- Dysphagia training is desirable
- Up-to-date immunisation record, if required by the facility
- Strong communication skills and a professional work ethic
- Availability for casual shifts, including weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, or nights
