Senior / Lead Piping Engineer

What You’ll Do

As a Senior / Lead Piping Engineer in our Mining & Resources group in Brisbane you’ll contribute to projects and programs that make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind. You will:

- Deliver high-quality piping engineering solutions across major mining and resources projects.

- Lead projects from concept through to detailed design, providing technical direction and achieving exceptional client outcomes.

- Apply your expertise in piping systems, pipelines, pumped systems, hydraulic analysis and mechanical design to solve complex engineering challenges.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, practical and commercially sound solutions.

- Contribute to continuous improvement by enhancing engineering standards, processes and technical excellence across the business.

- Support, mentor and develop emerging engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

What you’ll bring

- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering and demonstrated experience in piping, pipelines, pumped systems, hydraulic analysis or stress engineering.

- RPEQ registration (or the ability to obtain it).

- Experience delivering projects within the oil & gas, energy, mining, industrial processing or resources sectors.

- Robust technical expertise with a passion for solving complex engineering challenges.





- The ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

- Experience mentoring and supporting engineers throughout their professional development.

- Knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards and engineering best practices.

- Experience with CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, NozzlePRO or similar piping engineering software.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence technical decisions and project outcomes.
