Job Description Assistant Manager | Elizabeth Tavern Base salary $80,000 + Super + Bonus Scheme + Group wide discounts We’re on the hunt for our next Assistant Manager to help keep the Elizabeth Tavern buzzing and loved by the locals. Located on Elizabeth Way, the newly renovated Elizabeth Tavern is a vibrant, family-friendly venue. We feature a busy Family Bistro serving pub classics and daily specials, a spacious and shady Beer Garden, and a modern Sports Bar equipped with multiple screens, pool tables, and TAB facilities. We pride ourselves on delivering great value and a fantastic atmosphere for our local community. A day in the life of an Assistant Manager: Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift Inherent requirements: This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently. About you: You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising You’ve learned from outstanding managers and now you’re ready to step up You’ve got the confidence, pride,
