Civil Tech Pty Ltd is a well-established South Australian civil construction company delivering infrastructure projects including bridges, marine works, roads, drainage, streetscapes and public infrastructure for government and local authority clients across South Australia.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our management team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects and the ongoing development of the business.

About the Role

This role is suited to an experienced Project Manager who enjoys leading civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing project delivery, leading site teams, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Working closely with the management team, you will also contribute to project planning, tender reviews and continuous business improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil construction projects from commencement through to completion

- Lead Site Supervisors and project teams

- Monitor project budgets, programmes and contractual performance

- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and procurement

- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

- Prepare progress claims, variations and project reporting

- Assist with tender submissions, reviews and project planning

- Identify opportunities to improve project performance and profitability





- Ensure compliance with Civil Tech’s Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems

About You

You are a practical and proactive Project Manager who enjoys being involved in all aspects of project delivery.

You are comfortable making decisions, leading teams and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You understand civil construction, take ownership of your projects and are committed to achieving positive outcomes.

You will enjoy working as part of a close-knit management team where your experience, ideas and contribution are valued.

Skills and Experience
Essential

- Approximately 8–15 years’ experience in civil construction project management

- Demonstrated experience delivering projects safely, on time and within budget

- Strong understanding of project programming, contracts and commercial management

- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects

- Current White Card

- Current Driver’s Licence

Desirable

- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline





- Experience delivering local government or government infrastructure projects

- Experience with tender preparation and estimating

- Experience using MS Project or similar programming software
