Perth Sex Toys 24/7 are looking for a creative, confident and social media-savvy Social Media Coordinator / Graduate to join our team on a part-time, 2-month temporary agreement, with a possibility for extension.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience with a bold, rapid-growing local business in the adult retail and sexual wellness industry. The role would suit a recent graduate, communications consultants, or emerging digital content creators and social media enthusiasts who are ready to bring fresh ideas, creative energy, and strong visual skills to our brand.

About the role

Working under guidance from the Managing Director, you develop a 12-month social media content calendar that assists Perth Sex Toys 24/7 achieving its organisational goals, whilst also promoting our products and services, and recognising key awareness events throughout the upcoming calendar year.

You will also aim to create two new social media pieces per week. This may include concepts, copy, imagery, photography, filming, editing, short videos, branded graphics, product promotions, company updates, sales content and sexual wellness education pieces.

Experience with TikTok and Snapchat will be highly regarded, as we are flirting with launching our profile in these spaces.

You will also be responsible for developing a simple analytics report template to benchmark and measure the ongoing effectiveness of our social media channels, activity, website, and the engagement in content amongst our followers. You will use this to provide the Managing Director with advice and insights into current trends and tactics.

Key responsibilities

- Develop a 12-month social media content calendar;

- Create and draft two social media content pieces per week;





- Develop content ideas, captions, imagery, videos and graphics;

- Apply existing Perth Sex Toys 24/7 branding across content and make reccomendations for change;

- Assist with the launch and management of a TikTok channel;

- Create an analytics template to track content performance;

- Monitor social media trends and provide creative recommendations; and

- Design content that increases awareness, engagement, education and sales.

About you

You may be a recent graduate in marketing, communications, media, design or a related field, or you may simply be a talented content creator who knows what makes great social media.

You will be confident using social media platforms, comfortable creating visual and video content across a number of subscription-based software and are excited by the opportunity to put your own stamp on how a small local business presents itself online.

As this role involves adult sex toys and sexual wellness content, you must be comfortable working with cheeky, risqué and humorous subject matter in a tasteful and professional way. You will also work within challenges and promotional restrictions under Meta's sexual health policy.

To be successful, you will have:

- A strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook,TikTok, Snapchat, and some understanding behing content management systems - predominantly Wordpress;

- Creative content ideas and strong visual instincts;

- Basic design, photography, video, audio or editing skills;

- Confidence using content creation tools and software;





- Good written communication skills;

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines;

- An interest in trends, branding and audience engagement;

- A professional and open-minded attitude toward adult products and sexual wellness;

- Strong attention to detail, be well organised, and a 'can do' attitude.
