The award-winning Peninsula Hotel is currently seeking a full time Bottle Shop Assistant Manager for our Thirsty Camel drive-thru. You will have a passion for people, whilst maintaining high levels of customer service and hospitality at our busy hotel.
Reporting directly to the Bottle Shop Manager, the successful applicant will possess solid leadership skills with previous experience in a retail store. A commitment to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer experiences is essential.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a bottle shop
- Experience in stock control, ordering, stocktake & loss prevention
- Product knowledge of beer, wine & spirits
- Preparing displays, merchandising & presenting stock
- Maintaining the store with a high standard of cleanliness
- Vibrant personality with the ability to provide exceptional customer service, lead by example & a high attention to detail
- Must have Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
- Promotional organisation & compliance
- Maintaining a strong GP% & positive growth in sales
- Previous history with Bepoz systems & knowledge of Thirsty Camel promotional calendars is advantageous
- Able to work across a 7 day week & public holidays when required.
