About Chalice

Chalice is a leading ASX-listed exploration specialist located in West Perth with an unrivalled portfolio of district-scale, precious and base metals projects across Australia.

Gonneville Palladium-Nickel-Copper Project

In March 2020, Chalice made a globally significant, high-grade Platinum Group Metal–Nickel–Copper (PGE-Ni-Cu) discovery at the Gonneville Project, located approximately 70km north-east of Perth.

The Gonneville Resource contains a unique blend of critical minerals essential for decarbonisation and urbanisation, including palladium, platinum, nickel, copper and cobalt. Due to its strategic importance, the discovery has recently been approved as a “Strategic Project” by the Western Australian State Government and granted “Major Project Status” by the Australian Federal Government.

It is Australia’s first major palladium discovery and has opened up a new, previously unexplored mineral province the West Yilgarn Ni-Cu-PGE Province in Western Australia. Located less than 90 minutes’ drive from the Perth CBD, Gonneville offers truly unique and convenient access to site.

Join the Chalice team

The impact of this globally significant discovery has been profound for Chalice, cementing its reputation as one of the most exciting and cutting-edge explorers in Australia. Now is the time to join this team as the Company transitions from explorer to developer.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Water Infrastructure professional to join our team. Reporting to the Project Director,

play a key role in leading all aspects of the design and construction of a major piece of infrastructure, including developing and executing a water supply strategy to supply water to the Gonneville Project.

You will bring together strategic thinking, technical rigor, and stakeholder management to shape a solution that meets both project and broader community needs.

This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a small, innovative project team on a high-profile, greenfield critical minerals project.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and present a comprehensive water supply strategy, evaluating both single-user and multi-user options.

- Lead executive-level engagement with Chalice to secure endorsement of the preferred strategy.

- Deliver feasibility-stage pipeline design and cost estimates (capital and operating) covering the full water pathway — from receipt via Water Corporation through treatment, pumping and delivery to the Gonneville Site Water Storage Facility.

- Collaborate closely with the General Manager – Corporate Affairs and General Manager – Environment and Community to manage government stakeholder relationships.

- Foster a strong,

team-oriented relationship with Water Corporation to support seamless delivery of the infrastructure.

- Oversee engineering consultants and contractors engaged in the design of the pipeline and associated infrastructure.

- Ensure timely reporting and delivery against key project milestones for the Water Supply infrastructure.

- Maintain proactive, ongoing engagement with all key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience managing the engineering and construction of water pipeline infrastructure.

- Proven experience in the design of pipeline systems over large distances, including both above ground and buried infrastructure.

- Experience in the construction of pipeline systems, both above and below ground; a sound understanding of geotechnical principles relating to excavation and design would be advantageous.

- Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary consultant and/or contractor teams.

- Strong stakeholder engagement experience, with particular focus on government, utility providers, and community engagement.

- Experience within the resources industry is preferred.
