We are seeking a talented Groundskeeper to join our facilities team at the Darwin International Airport. In this hands-on role, you will help maintain and beautify our expansive airport grounds using your stellar landscaping skills and keen eye for detail.

You will get to flex your green thumb operating commercial mowers, trimmers, tractors, and other equipment to keep our grass neat and tidy. But it's not just grass and plants - you'll also assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs of airport infrastructure like pavements, signs, drains, and markings to ensure safety and compliance.

Responsibilities Include

Mowing, pruning, painting, and generally sprucing up airport groundsOperating landscaping equipment and tools safelyEscorting contractors airsideReplacing and repairing airside furniture as neededMonitoring and reporting on infrastructure conditionResponding to emergencies when on call

To be considered for this opportunity, the ideal candidate will possess:

Experience safely operating mowers, trimmers, tractors, and power toolsStrong teamwork and communication skillsSelf-motivation, initiative, and attention to detailKnowledge of sustainable land management best practicesAvailability for an on-call schedule
