The role of Principal Quality and Safeguarding Officer based in Adelaide will guide high-level clinical practice to support colleagues, DCP Executive and other government agencies. You will provide expertly knowledge surrounding quality practices that safeguard children and young people. Your clinical, evidence-based approach to problem-solving will strengthen the organisational goals and performance outcomes of the Quality and Safeguarding Unit. This analytical and strategy-based position is a crucial component in DCP’s commitment to protect vulnerable clientele.

In this role, you will:

- Administer quality assurance, governance and management measures surrounding incident reporting
- Implement evidence-based research and mitigation strategies to enhance safeguarding tactics for children and young people
- Use an array of case management systems to effectively pinpoint risk factors and elevate documentation processes
- Produce recommendations that heighten departmental practice, policies and procedures
- Prepare thorough reports, memos, and briefings at an Executive and Ministerial level.
