About the team - The ERP Program team is responsible for leading enterprise transformation to improve how our people, processes and technology work together. Be part of modernising how the ASC operates and engages through a phased ERP journey across our Lean ERP (Finance/HR/Portfolio), Grants and Customer programs. Make a real impact working at the intersection of business, technology and change, to help shape the future of the ASC and support Australian sport.

About the role - You will lead the ASC Workday platform, ensuring value, alignment and continuous improvement are delivered for all business area owners and achieve strategic priorities.

As a Workday Product Owner, you will:

- Define Workday product vision and roadmap to ensure continuous optimisation and improvement
- Analyse, propose and improve business processes and reporting, through understanding and application of Workday capability to the ASC.
- Manage and prioritise backlog and releases in consultation with feedback and priorities received from key stakeholders and business teams
- Engage, influence and partner with stakeholders and vendors

About you - The successful candidate will have:

- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience in product ownership, product management or business leadership of a Workday enterprise platform, including HR, Finance, Payroll, Program Management or other modules in a complex organisation.
- Proven ability to define product vision, roadmap, backlog and delivery priorities, and to lead end-to-end lifecycle decisions that balance business value, risk, cost and operational integrity.
- Robust ability to work, influence and drive alignment across business owners, technology and vendor and governance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience governing live enterprise platforms in regulated environments, including release planning, risk and control management and assurance activities.




- Demonstrated experience supporting business change and user adoption to embed enterprise platform capability and improve organisational outcomes.
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting, data governance and process improvement including the ability to use insights to inform product decisions and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and support governance and executive decision-making.

The following experience and capabilities are desirable and would strengthen performance in the role:

- Experience in business and/or digital transformation in ERP, HR, Finance or related business areas.
- Experience with ERP, HR or Finance digital solutions in the Australian Public Service or broader public sector, including familiarity with government governance, assurance or policy environments.
- Experience with comparable ERP solutions in a federal government environment such as TechnologyOne, Aurion, SAP, Oracle or other integrated HR, Finance or ERP solutions.
- Agile, PRINCE2, product management or similar delivery certification, or equivalent experience leading complex digital or business transformation initiatives.

This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 30 June 2028 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this position applicants are required to be Australian citizens only and must be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
