About the role

Hinterland Chiropractic Pty Ltd is seeking a Chiropractic Assistant to join our friendly and professional team in Maleny, QLD. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst supporting our chiropractors and patients in delivering exceptional care. As a Chiropractic Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly, creating a welcoming environment for patients, and providing essential administrative and clinical support. This role is perfect for someone looking to build experience in the healthcare industry whilst maintaining work-life balance.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting patients upon arrival and ensuring a warm, professional welcome to the clinic

2. Managing appointment scheduling, confirmations and patient follow-ups

3. Processing patient payments and managing clinic finances accurately

4. Maintaining detailed and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations

5. Assisting chiropractors during treatments by preparing treatment rooms and patients as needed

6. Sterilising and maintaining clinic equipment and ensuring a clean, hygienic environment

7. Answering telephone enquiries and responding to patient questions professionally

8. Supporting administrative tasks including filing, data entry and document preparation

9. Providing patient education materials and explaining treatment options as directed by chiropractors

10. Maintaining stock levels of clinical supplies and ordering materials as required

What we're looking for

1. A strong passion for healthcare and supporting patient wellbeing

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff and healthcare providers

3. Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinic workplace

4. Proficiency with computer systems and office software, including appointment scheduling systems

5.



Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate patient records and confidentiality

6. Physical capability to perform duties such as lifting, moving equipment and assisting patients as required

7. Flexibility to work casual hours that may include early mornings, evenings and weekends as needed

8. Previous experience in a healthcare, clinical or administrative setting is advantageous but not essential if you demonstrate strong potential and eagerness to learn
