Position: Construction Surveyor
Location: Fly-Out from Perth
Salary: Up to $70 per hour
About the Role:
An excellent opportunity has opened for an experienced Construction Surveyor to join a leading Western Australian surveying firm. This role offers the flexibility of either a permanent or contract position, depending on your preference. You will be working on a variety of major infrastructure projects across the state.
Operating on a roster, you will provide high-level survey support to ensure project accuracy and success. This is a great chance for a surveyor who enjoys the variety of infrastructure work—from roads and bridges to large-scale earthworks—while earning a top-tier hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate set-outs for civil and infrastructure components.
- Conduct as-built surveys and topographic surveys as required.
- Work on a range of projects including roadworks, concrete structures, and earthworks.
- Assist with the setup and management of machine guidance systems.
- Process site data and prepare accurate reports for project engineers.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and care while working in busy site environments.
What You'll Bring:
- Solid background in construction or civil surveying.
- Proficiency with modern total stations, GPS/GNSS, and leveling equipment.
- Experience with survey software (such as Civil 3D, Magnet, or Terramodel).
- Ability to work well on a FIFO roster and hit the ground running.
- A tertiary qualification in Surveying or a relevant Diploma.
- Full Australian working rights.
