We're looking for a motivated and results-driven professional who wants to do more than just deliver events. This role is for someone who is driven to elevate triathlon to the next level, expand the sport's reach, grow participation, strengthen partnerships, and create exceptional experiences for athletes, members, sponsors, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities: Lead event planning, operations, and delivery from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality participant and stakeholder experiences.Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, suppliers, clubs, and key stakeholders, including contract negotiation, administration, and review.Support commercial growth through sponsorship activation, partnership development, and identifying opportunities to increase participation, revenue, and event quality.Coordinate event staffing, contractors, volunteers,
and cross-functional delivery teams to ensure seamless event execution.Work collaboratively with the marketing team to deliver engaging event promotions, communications, and participant engagement initiatives.Provide hands-on leadership on event days and contribute to broader organisational projects and strategic initiatives.Support Race Directors in the delivery of State Series, Championship, and other sanctioned events across Western Australia.
About you Calm under pressure, with the ability to make confident decisions and solve problems when it matters most.Demonstrate excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.Possess strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events and projects concurrently.Have experience in event management, sports administration, or a related field, ideally within a not-for-profit, sporting, or membership-based organisation.Tertiary qualifications in event management, sports management, business, marketing, or a related discipline are desirable.
