We're an ecommerce brand based in Perth, and we're looking for someone who wants more than just a job.
This is a rare opportunity to work directly alongside the founder and learn every part of building a modern consumer brand. You'll see how products are created, content is produced, customers are looked after, marketing campaigns come to life, and decisions are made every day.
Some days you'll be filming content at the beach. Some days you'll be packing customer orders. Some days you'll be helping launch a new product or organise an event. No two weeks look the same. If you're naturally curious, full of ideas and love making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
About the RoleAs the Founder's Assistant, you'll work directly with Sarah across almost every part of Hairpip. You'll help create content, grow our community, improve the customer experience, support ecommerce, organise the studio and generally help keep the business moving forward.You're not just completing tasks, you're helping build a brand. Everything you create should feel unmistakably Hairpip... simple, genuine, entertaining and thoughtful.We're looking for someone who moves quickly, enjoys solving problems and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. We don't expect perfection. We'd rather test an idea today than spend two weeks trying to make it perfect.
What You'll Be DoingContent & BrandYou'll help bring the Hairpip brand to life every day by:Filming and editing content for Instagram,
TikTok and email.Capturing behind-the-scenes moments, founder stories and customer experiences.Writing captions and publishing content.Helping develop new content ideas and creative campaigns.Maintaining a consistent Hairpip look, feel and voice across everything we produce.Monitoring content performance and identifying opportunities to improve.CommunityYou'll help build a community people genuinely enjoy being part of by:Replying to comments and direct messages.Connecting with customers and encouraging conversations.Collecting customer stories, reviews and user-generated content.Helping identify customers who would make great content or ambassadors.eCommerce & MarketingYou'll support the day-to-day growth of the business by:Updating Shopify product pages.Assisting with Klaviyo email campaigns and customer journeys.Helping improve the online shopping experience.Supporting product launches and marketing campaigns.Looking for ways to improve conversion, customer experience and brand consistency.Startup LifeNo task is beneath anyone here, one hour you might be filming a reel, the next you could be packing orders, organising products for a shoot, tidying the studio or preparing for a customer event. We're a small team and we all muck in. We work in a warehouse in O’Connor where it all happens under one roof.Who You AreYou don't need years of experience,
you do need the right attitude.You'll probably enjoy this role if you:Learn quickly and love figuring things out.Naturally notice positive branding, marketing and design.Use social media because you're genuinely interested in it, not because it's your job.Enjoy creating content and telling stories.Like moving quickly rather than chasing perfection.Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do.Are organised without being rigid.Bring positive energy to the people around you.Want to understand how an ecommerce business actually grows.
An interest in clean living, sustainability and thoughtful products is a bonus, but curiosity matters more than expertise.
