We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Medical Receptionist to join our busy general practices on a casual basis.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients and managing appointments.
- Answering phone calls and responding to enquiries.
- Processing patient registrations and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing billing, Medicare claims, and EFTPOS transactions.
- Liaising with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- General administrative and reception duties.
About You
- Previous medical reception experience is preferred.
- Experience using Best Practice medical software is highly regarded.
- Training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a busy setting.
- Professional presentation and a caring, patient-focused approach.
