This is a outstanding opportunity for an Accountant who enjoys working closely with clients and wants exposure beyond simply preparing tax returns.
The RoleYour responsibilities will include:Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships and individualsPreparing and reviewing BAS, IAS and other compliance requirementsWorking across Xero and other cloud-based accounting systemsAssisting with tax planning, including identifying opportunities around CGT,



FBT and Division 7AReviewing client financials and identifying opportunities to improve business performanceBuilding strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact for their accounting needsWorking with clients across a range of industries and business structuresCollaborating closely with senior accountants and managers to develop your technical knowledge and commercial understandingGaining exposure to more advisory-focused work, rather than being limited to compliance
About YouWe are looking for someone with:Previous experience in an Australian public practice environmentExperience across business services and taxStrong technical accounting and tax knowledgeExcellent communication and client relationship skillsA proactive and commercial mindsetThe ability to work both independently and as part of a teamCA or CPA qualifications, or a desire to continue working towards them
