An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Finance & Business Performance Coordinator to join the Gold Coast branch in a key part-time position supporting the day-to-day financial and operational performance of the business.

About the Role

This is a varied position combining finance, reporting, payroll, compliance, business, and operational support.

You'll be responsible for ensuring the financial administration of the business is accurate and up to date while providing meaningful reporting that assists management with planning and decision-making.

Working within a small, supportive team, you'll also play an important role in maintaining compliance, supporting staff onboarding, coordinating safety administration and ensuring business systems and warehouse operations continue to run efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently and contributing to the overall success of a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly financial reports and reconciliations

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Process weekly payroll and maintain employee records

- Assist with BAS preparation and statutory reporting

- Monitor business performance and prepare management reporting

- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting

- Maintain accurate financial records using Xero and Microsoft 365

- Coordinate HR administration, onboarding documentation and staff records

- Maintain compliance documentation, licences and subcontractor records

- Coordinate WHS administration, training records and compliance requirements

- Manage purchasing, warehouse consumables and asset registers

- Build positive working relationships with internal staff, suppliers, insurers and subcontractors

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring previous experience within bookkeeping, finance administration or accounting, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

You'll also possess:

- Strong understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations

- Experience with payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable

- Knowledge of BAS preparation and GST requirements

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Experience using Xero (Dext experience highly regarded)

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Strong attention to detail

- A proactive approach with the confidence to work autonomously and as part of a team

Accounting or bookkeeping qualifications will be highly regarded, however practical experience and the right attitude are equally important.
