Part time Payroll Officer - Osborne Park

Workpower is currently looking for an experienced part-time Payroll Officer to join our Corporate Services team.
About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager of People and Culture and working closely with our Payroll Team, you will assist with the delivery of accurate and timely payroll and personnel services across Workpower.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing new employee information and creating personnel files and payroll records
- Processing payroll for employees and supported employees
- Managing superannuation records, taxation forms and related information
- Compiling earnings reports for supported employees to provide to Centrelink
- Managing salary packaging responsibilities
- Responding to payroll enquiries
- Maintaining key personnel dates, including licence checks and renewals, probation assessments and salary increments
- Providing payroll and employment information for workers’ compensation claims
- Supporting the wider People and Culture team as required

You're someone who;
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail
- Has a minimum of three years’ experience in a payroll role
- Has strong knowledge of industrial relations and relevant legislation
- Can confidently interpret awards and enterprise agreements
- Works well as part of a team
- Is willing to learn and develop
- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
