Spare Parts Interpreter

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team in Maddington.

In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, receiving, storing and distributing parts, consumables and workshop equipment that keep our heavy vehicle fleet operating efficiently. You'll play a key role in supporting our workshop team by ensuring the right parts are available when they're needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and interpret parts for a diverse range of heavy vehicles

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

- Procure parts, consumables, tools, and workshop materials to meet operational requirements

- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to minimise downtime and maximise workshop productivity

- Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries

- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock control systems

- Raise purchase orders and process supplier invoices

- Coordinate freight and logistics for urgent parts requirements

- Conduct regular stocktakes and inventory audits

- Provide timely parts support to workshop personnel

- Maintain a clean, organised and safe parts store

About You

You're an organised and proactive Parts Interpreter or Storeperson who understands the importance of keeping a busy workshop running efficiently.

To be successful, you'll have:

- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter, Storeperson, Inventory Controller or similar





- Solid mechanical aptitude and parts interpretation experience

- Knowledge of heavy vehicles or fleet equipment

- Experience with procurement, purchasing, and inventory management

- Strong computer skills including inventory systems, purchase orders, and processing

- Current forklift Licence (preferred but not essential)

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Ability to protitise tasks and work independently

- Ability to pass pre employment medical and police clearance
