About the Role

As a Cellar Hand, you will be involved in all aspects of winery operations, including:
Transferring wine between tanks, barrels, tankers, and bottling facilities using pumps and hoses
Weighing, measuring, and adding winemaking ingredients and additives
Preparing wine to specification for bottling and packaging
Cleaning and sanitising tanks, vessels, hoses, pumps, and winery equipment
Operating winery equipment including crossflow filters, centrifuges, presses, and other processing machinery during vintage
Assisting with general cellar and winery duties as required

We are looking for someone who:
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Enjoys hands-on physical work
Works well as part of a team
Is committed to building a long-term career in the wine industry
Has a strong focus on workplace safety and attention to detail
Previous winery experience is beneficial but not essential.



Training will be provided for the right candidate.

What We Offer

Long-term position
38 hours per week outside of vintage
Pay and conditions in accordance with the Wine Industry Award 2020
Overtime available during vintage (February to May), paid at applicable Award rates
