Our event team is involved in all aspects of making our event run smoothly and ensuring our customers have the night of their lives. This includes event and bar set-up, greeting and serving customers, cash handling, operating digital point of sale system, event and bar pack-down, carriage attendant duties and other relevant tasks as required.

Our bar staff members work closely with our Bar Supervisor to ensure that RSA responsibilities are always adhered to and ensure that customers have a positive and enjoyable experience.

No bar experience, but love interacting with customers and listening to live music? Our carriage attendant role might be perfect for you!

To be successful you will have:

- Excellent communication & organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively

- A strong customer service focus with the motivation to consistently drive high service levels

- Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a calm character

- High level of personal presentation, professionalism, and integrity

- Be prepared to and physically able to carry out suitable physical tasks on a moving heritage train within the scope of mobile event beverage and hospitality service. - A current RSA Certificate is required for bar work however we also have a small amount of event roles that are not involved with the bar

- Food Safety Certificate prior to commencement

In return, you will receive:

- Regular Saturday shifts, both day or night between October and May

- Opportunity to learn current skills

- Rosters provided minimum of one month in advance

We also have opportunities for a Bar Supervisor. As Bar Supervisor you will play a key leadership role within our event team, overseeing all bar operations on our iconic heritage train. You’ll work closely with the Customer Service Manager and event staff to ensure smooth service, strict RSA compliance, and an outstanding customer experience from departure to arrival. This is a dynamic, hands-on role combining team leadership, customer interaction, and operational responsibility.

In addition to the event staff requirements, the Bar Supervisor will:

- Lead and supervise bar staff during events

- Oversee bar setup and pack-down across multiple carriages

- Manage cash handling and digital point-of-sale systems

- Perform a stock-take post service

- Have proven experience in bar supervision or bar management

- Have a strong customer service focus and calm leadership style
