The Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support our sustaining capital projects team. Working closely with engineering, estimating, project, and construction teams, this role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and controlling detailed project schedules across multiple disciplines.
This position would suit a hands‑on, detail‑focused scheduler who enjoys working behind the scenes in a rapid‑paced, contractor-side environment. The role is not client-facing but requires strong stakeholder liaison internally to ensure accurate and timely schedule inputs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectPrepare tender schedules, production schedules, and S‑curves to support project planning and forecastingIntegrate multi-disciplinary schedules across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and E&I; scopesGather schedule inputs from engineering teams and estimators, translating technical information into accurate programsMonitor project progress, identify schedule variances,
and implement corrective actionsPerform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and mitigation planningLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate progress tracking, reporting, and forecastingPrepare schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for project teams and managementMaintain schedule integrity, including baselines, updates, and change management processesSupport planning and scheduling activities across sustaining capital projects within a mining environment
About You
Full Australian work rightsRelevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (desirable)Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (Essential)Demonstrated scheduling experience across Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, and E&I; disciplinesExperience delivering Sustaining Capital Projects, preferably within the mining sectorStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage and maintain accurate, structured schedulesAbility to interpret engineering documentation and incorporate estimator inputs into project programsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
