Workshop Technicians

Near Perth Airport | Mon–Fri, 7:00am–3:00pm base roster

Keystone People Solutions is recruiting Workshop Technicians for a specialist Perth business that protects, stores, maintains, tests and prepares critical equipment for industry sectors including resources, defence, aviation and construction.

This isn't a pick-pack warehouse job. You'll inspect equipment, carry out maintenance and repairs, run function tests, package to standard, and document your work properly. Roles range from junior technicians building trade skills through to experienced hands running the bench with minimal supervision — so whether you're 2 years in or 10, there's a seat here.

What you'll be doing

- Inspecting equipment for faults, damage or wear

- Carrying out preservation, maintenance and minor repairs

- Function testing and diagnostics

- Packaging equipment to required standards

- Documenting service reports with photos

- Following method statements and work instructions





Who we want

Some trade or mechanical exposure is preferred, but we're hiring across the experience range — from technicians early in their trade through to those with 5+ years who can work largely unsupervised. What matters more than years on paper:

- Practical and mechanically minded

- Reliable and consistent

- Safety-conscious, works to procedure

- Comfortable with sustained physical work

- Takes ownership of their own quality and HSE

Essential

- Current forklift ticket

- Current C Class driver's licence

- Confidence using hand tools and power tools

- Basic computer skills for reports and photos

- Willingness to travel to sites occasionally when required

Nice to have

- Mechanical, hydraulic or electrical trade background

- Fixed plant, preservation or maintenance experience

- Working at Heights, Dogman, EWP tickets

Backgrounds that could suit

Trade Assistant, Workshop or Service Technician, Mechanical/Hydraulic TA, fixed plant or maintenance support, equipment hire/repair/testing, or trade experience from defence, resources, construction, aviation or marine sectors.
