Predictive Recruitment Partners
Perth
Predictive Recruitment Partners has been engaged by PWD to find an experienced Senior SEO Specialist who can take ownership of SEO and GEO strategy across a diverse client portfolio, drive measurable organic growth, and help mentor others as PWD's search capability continues to grow. If you are a detail-driven SEO professional who thrives on precision, technical rigour and staying ahead of a constantly evolving search landscape, this role has been built for you.
About PWD
PWD is a long-established Perth digital marketing and web development agency, delivering data-driven SEO strategies and measurable results for a wide client base across Australia.
The team combines web design, development, SEO, Google Ads and eCommerce expertise, and has built a reputation over almost two decades for combining technical rigour with genuine business outcomes for its clients. As the search landscape shifts toward AI-driven answer engines, PWD is investing heavily in Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI visibility, and is looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to help lead that evolution for its client portfolio.
About the Role
As Senior SEO Specialist, you will take ownership of SEO strategy and implementation across a diverse portfolio of clients. You will lead technical audits, build high-impact SEO campaigns, and work closely with design and development teams to ensure best practice is embedded across every client engagement. This role suits a proactive SEO professional with at least three years of hands-on experience who can drive measurable organic growth through advanced technical and strategic SEO techniques, and who is ready to extend that expertise into the emerging world of AI Search and GEO.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies to lift organic rankings and qualified traffic; conducting in-depth technical SEO audits; optimising on-page elements including meta tags, structured data and site architecture; leading keyword research, content strategy and competitive analysis; overseeing link-building and digital PR; and monitoring and reporting on performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other industry tools.
You will also develop and execute GEO / AI Search Optimisation strategies to grow client visibility and citations within AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, and mentor junior SEO team members along the way.
About You
This role calls for a high degree of specialised expertise and precision in maintaining established standards of quality and accuracy. The pace is faster than average, but quality is never compromised, and you will juggle multiple simultaneous client projects in a structured, technical and analytical workplace where expertise-based problem solving is genuinely valued. New ideas, particularly around emerging AI search tactics, are welcomed and given space to be tested and validated before being rolled out to clients.
You are likely someone who is:
- Detail-oriented and diligent – you take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work and have a low tolerance for errors
- Technically minded and analytical – with a genuine respect for best practice, rules and the nuances of the search ecosystem
- Self-disciplined and driven – with the determination to achieve results against clearly defined standards
- Conscientious and quality-focused – balancing healthy scepticism with a willingness to test and adopt proven new approaches
- Confident within your expertise – comfortable making authoritative, well-reasoned decisions, and able to explain SEO strategy and tactics to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge
Key Traits for Success
- Serious, diligent and reserved in your working style, with a genuine preference for a professional, structured environment
- A strong understanding of rules, regulations and best practice, and a real discomfort with unnecessary risk of error
- Comfortable operating with specific, deep knowledge of your field rather than a generalist approach
- Motivated by clarity of tasks and duties, and by the opportunity to consistently deliver high-quality, high-accuracy work
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, preferably gained in an agency environment
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, including schema markup, site architecture and page speed optimisation
- Experience across a range of CMS platforms, including WordPress and Shopify

- Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and data-driven SEO reporting
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate it into action
- Basic development skills or a working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience in local SEO, eCommerce SEO or enterprise-level SEO
- Excellent communication and project management skills, including confidence presenting to clients
- Comfortable using AI tools (Claude and similar) in day-to-day workflows for research, analysis, content briefing and automation, while maintaining a critical eye for accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients while maintaining strong attention to detail
- A strategic thinker who is adaptable, innovative and results-driven
What We Can Provide
- $90,000–$110,000 plus superannuation, plus a bonus scheme
- A dynamic, fast-paced digital marketing workplace with exciting, varied projects
