Boilermaker – Rio Tinto Fixed Plant Maintenance $65/hr Flat | 7:7 Roster | FIFO WA | Immediate Starts Available

HPS Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers for an exciting FIFO opportunity working across Rio Tinto fixed plant maintenance sites with a prestigious and rapidly growing engineering contractor.

This is an excellent chance for skilled boilermakers with MIG and Flux Core welding experience who are already Rio Tinto inducted and ready to mobilise immediately.

With mobilisation dates available from late next week through to the end of July, this project is expected to run for several months, with ongoing opportunities available for high-performing tradespeople.

The Role You will be completing fixed plant maintenance across Rio Tinto operations, carrying out structural repairs, maintenance, fabrication and welding activities to ensure plant reliability and safe operation.
Duties include:

- MIG welding
- Flux Core (FCAW) welding
- Fixed plant maintenance




- Structural steel repairs and fabrication
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Shutdown and maintenance activities
- Working safely within Rio Tinto procedures and standards
- Maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety compliance

Essential Requirements
- Trade Qualified Boilermaker
- Current Rio Tinto Induction (Essential)
- Strong MIG welding experience
- Strong Flux Core (FCAW) welding experience
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence
- Trade Certificate
- Gas Testing
- Basic Fire Fighting
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Screening

Preferred
- EWP Licence
- Previous fixed plant maintenance experience
- Strong shutdown or mining maintenance background
