We’re looking for an experienced Roof Plumber to join our friendly and supportive team based in Osborne Park. In this role, you’ll handle roofing maintenance tasks for commercial, industrial, and government properties across the Perth metro area and surrounding suburbs. You’ll primarily work on government maintenance contracts, servicing facilities such as schools, aged care centres, colleges, and other public buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Roof Maintenance & Carpentry: Perform general roof maintenance and carpentry works across a variety of properties.
Repairs & Installations: Repair, install, and replace roof sheets, tiles, gutters, flashings, downpipes, skylights, fascias, and cladding.
Leak Detection & Repairs: Identify, trace, and repair roof leaks efficiently and effectively.
Site Preparation: Remove debris and prepare roof areas for maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Gutter Cleaning: Carry out routine gutter cleaning to maintain proper drainage and prevent issues.
Minor Quoting: Prepare quotes for small maintenance and repair works as required.
Material Management: Order and manage materials to ensure timely completion of works.
Systems & Administration: Utilise AWB Co.’s systems and software for job management and administrative tasks.
On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call duty roster as required.

Requirements

- Qualified: Certificate or qualification in roof plumbing/roof carpentry.

- Experience:



Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial and government property maintenance.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience in government maintenance contracts or in the commercial sector is highly regarded.

- Ready to Go: Valid Driver’s Licence, Police Clearance, White Card, Working @ Height Certificate (Valid)

- Equipped: Own trade tools (specialty tools will be provided by AWB).

- Problem Solver: Strong troubleshooting skills with excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient IT skills and familiarity with online/mobile job management systems (SimPRO ) is a plus.

- Professional Communicator: Strong communication and customer service skills.

- Knowledgeable: Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
