We are looking to fill two positions, a Diploma qualified person for our After School Programme and a Cert III qualified Assistant Educator to join our boutique Centre situated in a lovely neighbourhood in Highland Park on the Gold Coast.

The After School Care position is part time (approximately 30 hours per week), and is working with our small after school group and working 12 midday to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. A full drivers license is required as it will be a requirement to drive our small commuter bus.

The Assistant Educator position is part time and would work across all age groups. A flexible roster would be provided within our operating hours of 6.30am to 6.00pm.

We hope to attract two people who want to have fun and to also work as part of a team, are considerate of the people they work with, along with the children they care for.

Our Centre philosophy centres around the theories of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky. We cater for babies through to school age children, and include a Queensland Kindergarten Education Programme in our four year old room. We have a bus service for our before and after school care which services several local schools, plus we also operate a vacation care programme for our school children.

- Current Working with Children Check

- Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework including: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one

- A Diploma in Childcare for the after school position and a Certificate III for the the assistant educator position.
