Full-Time FOH Supervisor / Team Leader

Cartel Taqueria is hiring full-time FOH staff across our Queanbeyan & Belconnen stores.

We’re looking for someone with energy, confidence, urgency & a genuinely good attitude. Someone who likes hospitality, can handle a busy service, takes pride in the details, & actually wants to be part of a strong team.

This role would suit someone with solid FOH experience who is ready for consistent full-time hours, or someone with supervisor/team leader potential who wants to grow with the business.

Please note: this role is across both our Queanbeyan & Belconnen stores. SEEK only allows us to list one official location on the ad, but we are looking for someone who can work across QBN, Belco, or both depending on roster needs and where you are based.

Cartel is a busy Mexican/taqueria-style restaurant brand with locations in Queanbeyan & Belconnen.

We’re known for tacos, margs, good food, busy services, events, and a team that actually cares about what we’re building.

The role

The role includes:

- greeting and seating guests

- taking orders

- running food and drinks

- clearing tables

- helping with takeaway/delivery orders

- maintaining service standards





- keeping the venue clean and organised

- supporting busy lunch and dinner services

- helping create a fun, fast, welcoming customer experience

- supporting newer team members on shift

- helping managers keep service running smoothly

For the right person, there is room to grow into more responsibility, including shift leading, training new staff and supporting venue management.

What we’re looking for

- FOH, restaurant, bar, cafe or hospitality experience preferred

- Confident communication skills

- Good energy and a solid work ethic

- Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure

- A team-first attitude

- Reliability and pride in your work

- Availability across weekdays, nights and weekends

- RSA preferred, especially for bar/alcohol service

- Supervisor or team leader experience is a bonus, but not essential for the right person

- $65,000 to $80,000 + super, based on experience
