Mechanical Fitter – FIFO | WA

Rates:$80/hr (Days) | $92/hr (Nights)
Roster: 8/6 – 7/7 (12-hour shifts, DS/NS)
Start: Mid-August
Duration: 3-month contract → Permanent opportunity
We’re chasing experienced Mechanical Fitters for FIFO roles across WA, working across a diverse fixed plant environment with long-term potential.
Scope of Work:

- Fixed plant maintenance across processing infrastructure
- Hoisting shaft, winder & headframe systems
- Underground dewatering systems
- Crushers, conveyors & stackers
- Bulk air chillers & surface ventilation fans
- Hydraulics & pneumatics
- Reading and interpreting technical schematics & HMI systems
- General welding and repair work

Requirements:

- Australian recognised Trade Certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- Confined Space (CS)
- Construction White Card
- HRWL – WP
- Proven mining experience (gold mine highly regarded)
