TRANSPORT SCHEDULER

Tropical Waste services is looking for an organised and motivated Transport Scheduler to join our team.

Tropical Waste Services is a locally owned and operated waste management company providing reliable total waste management solutions throughout Townsville and surrounding areas.

This position is responsibile for the day-to-day coordination of our fleet while also managing a variety of administration responsibilities. If you're someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a rapid-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organised, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Answering phone calls

- Scheduling multiple waste vehicle in accordance with customer requirements.

- Regular reviewing and actioning of emails throughout the day, ensuring all relevant are actioned.

- Managing customer data through company Scheduling app and CRM

- Liaise with drivers, customers, and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of transportation activities





- Managing and maintaining relevant customer and driver documentation.

- Develop and maintain efficient and cost-effective transportation scheduling.

Qualification and Skills:

- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

- Great organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work autonomously and apart of a team environment.

- Experience as a Transport Scheduler preferred but not required, preferably in the waste management or logistics industry.

- A positive attitude, with a teamwork and customer focus!
