Furniture Design Studio – Balcatta, WA

Furniture Design Studio is a well-established commercial cabinetry business delivering high-quality joinery across education, hospitality, retail, commercial and residential projects throughout Western Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to take ownership of the implementation and optimisation of Jobman across our business.

We know how we want our business to operate. We are looking for someone who can work closely with management and staff to configure Jobman, improve system adoption, develop reporting and ensure the software is working effectively across all areas of the business.

This is an initial 3–6 month contract role focused on delivering a successful Jobman implementation. For the right person, there may be an opportunity to continue with the business in a longer-term systems or operational role.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of the Jobman implementation across the business

- Configure and optimise Jobman to support existing business processes

- Work with management to understand operational requirements and translate them into Jobman workflows

- Develop job costing, purchasing, production and reporting functions within the system

- Create meaningful reports, dashboards and management information

- Train and support staff in the effective use of Jobman

- Drive system adoption and consistency across the business





- Liaise with Jobman support and external providers where required

- Document processes and provide recommendations for ongoing system improvements

- Troubleshoot issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through better use of the software

About You

- Strong computer and software skills

- Quick learner with a genuine interest in systems and technology

- Highly organised with strong attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of personalities

- Comfortable working independently and driving outcomes

- Confident analysing information and solving problems

- Able to learn new software quickly and efficiently

Desirable Experience

- Experience implementing business, ERP or project management software

- Experience with Jobman or similar systems highly regarded

- Strong Excel and reporting skills

- Experience within manufacturing, construction, cabinetry or project-based businesses advantageous but not essential

- Recent graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply
