Hays is partnering with a leading Australian organisation supporting critical national security and Defence capability programmes. We are seeking an experienced People Partner to join a collaborative People & Culture team in a hands-on HR generalist role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR qualified who enjoys partnering closely with leaders, influencing workplace culture, and managing a broad range of employee matters within a complex and highly regulated environment.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the People & Culture function, you will provide trusted HR advice and support across a designated business area, partnering with managers to drive positive employee outcomes and workforce performance.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to provide pragmatic HR advice and solutionsSupport employee relations matters, including performance and conduct issuesFacilitate conflict resolution and workplace investigationsContribute to workforce planning and talent initiativesLead onboarding activities and support the employee life cycleConduct exit interviews and identify workforce trendsProvide advice on industrial relations,



legislation and policy interpretationChampion employee engagement, culture and workplace wellbeing initiativesEnsure HR compliance, governance and accurate record keeping About You
To be successful, you will demonstrate:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR Business Partner, People Partner or Senior HR Advisor roleStrong employee relations and performance management experienceSound understanding of Australian employment legislation and industrial frameworksExcellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skillsA proactive, solutions-focused approachRelevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related disciplineAbility to exercise discretion and manage confidential matters professionally What's on Offer?
