We are seeking an experienced Trades Assistant to join our successful workshop team

About the role

As a Trades Assistant you will support our Blast & Paint workshop to ensure we deliver a quality product to our client, in full and on time. This will include:

- Providing support to the team as required to complete work activities

- Using the Forklift and Overhead Cranes to transport and load/unload steel as required

- Use of brush and rollers to apply coatings to steelwork

- Providing assistance to Blasters & Painters in the workshop as required

- General housekeeping and maintenance of the workshop

- Monday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm - Saturday work available

About you

You will ideally have experience of working within the blast and paint or steel fabrication industry with the following:

- Forklift ticket

- Overhead crane experience

- Positive, can-do attitude

- Solutions focused, always working to execute the defined task with quality and precision in a timely manner

- Ability to work effectively as a team
