We're looking for a highly creative, energetic and hands-on person who wants to help build something truly special.

At Avocado Zinc, we're entering one of the most exciting stages of our journey. We're rebranding, refreshing our existing product range, developing exciting new SPF products, launching beachwear and merchandise, improving our customer experience, and expanding our reach across Australia and internationally.

This is a rare opportunity to become one of the key creative people behind the brand.

We're looking for someone who doesn't just create beautiful designs—they can bring an entire brand to life.

From product packaging and website design to social media content, retail displays and apparel, you'll help shape almost every visual touchpoint our customers experience.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days will ever look the same.

As one of the creative driving forces behind Avocado Zinc, you'll have the opportunity to work across branding, product development, content creation, eCommerce and marketing.

Brand, Graphic & Website Design

You'll help bring our brand to life across every customer touchpoint by:

- Designing new product packaging from concept through to print-ready artwork

- Refreshing and improving our existing product range

- Developing branding for new product launches

- Creating brochures, product catalogues, postcards, flyers, promotional material and printed collateral

- Designing retail point-of-sale displays, shelf talkers and in-store merchandising

- Creating pop-up displays, exhibition stands and event signage

- Designing premium shipping boxes, mailers, stickers, inserts and memorable unboxing experiences

- Designing digital advertising creative and email marketing assets

- Creating beautiful graphics for Instagram, TikTok, Meta ads and our website

- Designing engaging website pages, landing pages and promotional campaigns

- Updating and improving our Shopify website

- Helping improve website layout, navigation and overall customer experience (UX/UI)

- Assisting with merchandise, beachwear and apparel design

- Helping build and evolve the Avocado Zinc brand identity as we continue our rebrand

Content Creation





We want someone who loves creating content—not just designing it.

You'll be:

- Planning, filming and editing engaging TikTok and Instagram content

- Appearing confidently on camera (and not taking yourself too seriously!)

- Bringing fresh ideas for educational, entertaining and viral content

- Capturing behind-the-scenes moments, product launches, beach shoots and lifestyle content

- Staying on top of social media trends and finding creative ways to incorporate them into our brand

- Helping grow our community through authentic storytelling

eCommerce & Business Support

We're a growing business, which means everyone gets involved.

You'll also help with:

- Order fulfilment during busy periods

- Keeping our warehouse organised and looking great

- Helping redesign and improve our warehouse layout and creative spaces

- Supporting product launches and photoshoots

- Assisting across the business wherever an extra set of hands is needed

You'll gain first-hand experience across almost every area of running an eCommerce business.

About You

You're someone who genuinely loves great design and gets excited about building brands.

You probably:

- Have exceptional Adobe Illustrator skills (this is essential)

- Are highly proficient across Adobe Creative Suite

- Have advanced Canva skills and know how to create premium-looking content quickly

- Have a strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging and digital design

- Have an excellent understanding of typography, colour, layout and visual storytelling

- Have experience preparing artwork for both print and digital production

- Have experience designing websites, landing pages or eCommerce stores

- Have experience with Shopify and understand what makes an online store both beautiful and easy to shop

- Understand user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles

- Have an eye for creating consistent brand experiences across print, packaging, digital and social media

- Are confident creating, filming and editing engaging social media content

- Feel comfortable talking to camera and bringing energy and personality to videos

- Love TikTok, Instagram and keeping up with social media trends

- Are proactive, organised and take ownership of your work





- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day is different

- Aren't afraid to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed

- Have a bright, bubbly personality, a great sense of humour and love being part of a close-knit team

Bonus Points If You Have

- Packaging design experience

- Beauty, skincare or lifestyle brand experience

- Fashion, apparel or textile design experience

- Photography or videography skills

- Motion graphics or animation experience

- Copywriting skills

- Experience managing Shopify stores

- Experience with Klaviyo or email marketing

- Experience working in a growing eCommerce business
