The Opportunity

UGL is seeking an experienced Planner to join a high-performing team delivering major utilities and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing critical insights to ensure successful project delivery.

You’ll play a key role in supporting planning, reporting, and performance analysis across the full project lifecycle, working closely with project teams, site personnel, and stakeholders

This role is based in Rivervale and working on an exciting current project in the renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain baseline project schedules, ensuring WBS integrity and alignmentSupport tender schedule preparation and ongoing schedule managementTrack project progress, productivity, and performance against milestonesPrepare weekly and ad-hoc reporting, including dashboards, forecasts, and S-curvesConduct critical path analysis, trends analysis,



and risk/impact assessmentsCollaborate with site teams to review productivity and address inefficienciesAssist with variation proposals and delay notices in consultation with estimating teamsContribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and project performanceParticipate in schedule reviews and stakeholder communications

About You

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years’experience in a similar planning role, ideally within construction or utilities projectsStrong experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Power BI and SAPProven ability to analyse data and provide meaningful project insightsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsHighly organised with strong prioritisation and time management abilities
